Softball Registration Now Open.

2010 SPRING CO-ED SOFTBALL SEASON STARTING DATE:

Thurs. May 27th (games to be played Thursday nights)

STARTING TIMES:
6:30 pm – 9:15 pm

T-SHIRT PICK-UP & HAPPY HOUR:
Thurs. May 20th

LOCATION:

Games will be played at Mission Sports Complex (Old Pepsi Park – on south Shary Rd. in The Plantation Development)

SEASON:
Each team will play 7 regular season games. Play-offs will start the week after the end of the regular season. The number of teams in each league to make the play-offs varies per season.

LOCATION:
Games will be played in the Mission area, exact field loaction is TBD.

LEAGUE FEES:
$395 for a team of up to 13 players.  $35 for each additional player after 13.
$35 for each individual looking to be placed on a team.
League fee includes all equipment, an RGVSSC t-shirt (required to be worn by each player at every game and after game sponosored venue) for each participant, officials, as well as food & drink specials at the official RGVSSC post game venues.

NOTE FOR INDIVIDUALS:
If you are signing up with a small group of friends and want to be kept on the same team (if you do not have enough to form your own team), there is a line on the registration form for “team captain”. Just list all names on that line, and you will be kept together.

PAYMENT:
If signing up a team,  a $175 down payment is required and will secure your teams spot. The remaining funds are due at t-shirt pick-up (about one week before season start date).  Teams are not “officially” registered until a deposit or full payment is made.  All deposits are non refundable.

Of course you can always pay full team amount at time of registration.

FORMAT:
All games are co-ed.

10 players on the field at a time, at least 4 of them must be women
