2010 SUMMER CO-ED FLAG FOOTBALL SEASON STARTING DATE:

STARTING TIMES:
6:30 pm & 7:30 pm
T-SHIRT PICK-UP & HAPPY HOUR:
Wed. May 12th, 6:30pm - Roosevelt’s at 7
SEASON:
Each team will play 7 regular season games. Play-offs will start the week after the end of the regular season. The number of teams in each league to make the play-offs varies per season.
LOCATION:
Games will be played in the Mission High School football practice field (directly west of Tom Landry Stadium off Holland Ave.)
LEAGUE FEES:
$395 for a team of up to 12 players. $35 for each additional player after 12.
$35 for each individual looking to be placed on a team.
League fee includes all equipment, an RGVSSC t-shirt (required to be worn by each player at every game and after game sponosored venue) for each participant, officials, as well as food & drink specials at the official RGVSSC post game venues.
NOTE FOR INDIVIDUALS:
If you are signing up with a small group of friends and want to be kept on the same team (if you do not have enough to form your own team), there is a line on the registration form for “team captain”. Just list all names on that line, and you will be kept together.
PAYMENT:
If signing up a team, a $175 down payment is required and will secure your teams spot. The remaining funds are due at t-shirt pick-up (about one week before season start date). Teams are not “officially” registered until a deposit or full payment is made. All deposits are non refundable.
FORMAT:
All games are co-ed.
8 players on the field at a time, at least 3 of them must be women. Legal game can be played with 6 player minimum (4 men : 2 women). There cannot be more than 5 men on the field under any circumstance. There are no limits to the number of females allowed on the field at one time.
Every third play must be to/from a woman.
