Bowling Registration Now Open!

Games will be played on Monday nights with the season beginning on Monday April 23rd.  To register click on “Start My Team“. 

2012 WINTER BOWLING SEASON STARTING DATE:
Monday April 23rd 

STARTING TIMES:
7:00pm

T-SHIRT PICK-UP & HAPPY HOUR:
Flaming Bowl – McAllen

Monday April 16th

SEASON:
The season will run for 6 weeks.  Each team will play  3 games per night. 

LOCATION:
Games  played at Flamingo Bowl in McAllen. 

LEAGUE FEES:
$80 for an individual looking to be placed on a team.
$430 for a team of up to 7 players (only 5 scoreable players per game).
League fee includes lane fees & taxes, bowling ball, bowling shoes,  and RGVSSC t-shirt (required to be worn by each player at every game and after game sponosored venue) for each participant, as well as food & drink specials at sponsored bar following each game.

PAYMENT:
If signing up a team, only a $175 down payment is required and will secure your teams spot. The remaining funds are due at t-shirt pick-up (about one week before season start date).

FORMAT:
All games are co-ed.

7 players maximum on the roster.  5 players maximum per game – minimum of 2 women.

Kickball Games Cancelled – Feb. 11

February 11th, 2010

Teams – unfortunately due to wet field conditions from overnight rain and expected rain throughout the evening hours ALL games will be cancelled today.  Apologize for the late notice but we were hoping games would be played.  All games will resume on Feb. 25th (no games are schedule for Feb. 18th due to a softball tournament at Mission Sports Complex).  Games scheduled today will be made up at the end of the regular season.  Apologize for the inconvenience.

2012  CO-ED FLAG FOOTBALL SEASON STARTING DATE:

Monday – January 2012

STARTING TIMES:
6:30 pm & 7:30 pm

T-SHIRT PICK-UP & HAPPY HOUR:

SEASON:
Each team will play 7 regular season games. Play-offs will start the week after the end of the regular season. The number of teams in each league to make the play-offs varies per season.

LOCATION:
Games are played at the Boys & Girls Club of Alton (349 West Dawes – 5 mile & Conway)

LEAGUE FEES:
$395 for a team of up to 12 players.  $35 for each additional player after 12.
$35 for each individual looking to be placed on a team.
League fee includes all equipment, an RGVSSC t-shirt (required to be worn by each player at every game and after game sponosored venue) for each participant, officials, as well as food & drink specials at the official RGVSSC post game venues.

NOTE FOR INDIVIDUALS:
If you are signing up with a small group of friends and want to be kept on the same team (if you do not have enough to form your own team), there is a line on the registration form for “team captain”. Just list all names on that line, and you will be kept together.

PAYMENT:
If signing up a team,  a $175 down payment is required and will secure your teams spot. The remaining funds are due at t-shirt pick-up (about one week before season start date).  Teams are not “officially” registered until a deposit or full payment is made.  All deposits are non refundable.

FORMAT:
All games are co-ed.

8 players on the field at a time, at least 3 of them must be women.  Legal game can be played with 6 player minimum (4 men : 2 women).  There cannot be more than 5 men on the field under any circumstance. There are no limits to the number of females allowed on the field at one time. 

Every third play must be to/from a woman.
